Dear Jill, what a great and beautiful butterflies collection you have here!!! I loved all the photos, because insects are one of my favorite subjects and you have made such a wonderful work capturing all these beauties! A most fascinating album!!! I hope you are recovering well, my friend! Thank you so much for your visit to my puppie's album and for your nice congrats message about my Challenge entry. Nina is getting bigger and she's a little devil, LOL! But today she's a little down because she got her first vaccines dose! She doesn't look the same, poor little thing. I wish you a lovely weekend, dear Jill! Love and hugs! Rosa

Hello Jill, I so very much enjoyed viewing this album. All pictures are so beautiful! As always I like your way of photographing. I read that you have been in the hospital a while ago. I do hope all is well again? Thanks for your gb entry in Dotties Seven album. Both Floris and Ferne have adjusted very well into their male and female group. We had also planned a litter with Esja, but although she finally got pregnant, the delivery went completely wrong. She had to have a Caesarian section, with which she delivered 10 rittens, but they all didn’t survive. It was all very sad. I still try to keep up a bit with WS, but Mickey, our new dog (since July) does keep me very busy. Because of his history he asks a lot of attention. Of course he has his own album on WS (Mickey/wely246). Hope to keep in touch with you. I was very glad to hear from you. Friendly yours, Els

Hello Jill, I am so happy to see new albums on your site. Hopefully a sign that you are feeling better!!! :-) I admire you for your patience in watching and capturing these beauties. They are amazing. In the last month I had the opportunity to visit a butterfly garden. All I got was one decent picture of a butterfly and even that was not exactly as I wished it to be. :-) About the prickly pears: Today they grow them on fields like tomatoes and those prickly pears are not prickly at all. The do not have this orange color either - and of course they are not as sweet as the pears you get from a fence - getting home with lots of prickles in hands, feet and the bally!!! :-) Have a wonderful day! - Galit

Dear Jill, what a beautiful collection of butterflies, but HOW on earth to you get them to light for even a few seconds? I've tried many times, but they just flit from flower to flower. We don't have nearly as many varieties around here so it's not as much fun either. ... Hugs, Judy

Hi Jill, Such beauty! How do you charm them to sit so still and pose for a photo? I have tried taking photos of butterflies this year but they are not nearly as good as yours. A fantastic record of summer insects! Pam x

Jill, that's a wonderful album! I know that it's not easy to take pictures of butterflies and dragonflies and you did a very good job. You are lucky to have such beautiful flowers in UK, we do not have such a variety in nature. Thanks for your visit to my Talking Chairs album! Now that I see all those butterflies, I wish you could draw some of them on one of the chairs... Wishing you all the best, Yair.

Hello Jill, Wow, you have some awesome macros. I was very impressed at the clarity of your pictures and equally so of your knowledge of the species. Well done! You certaintly did see a lot of mating, didn't you? I'm trying to decide weather to be impressed or embarassed. LOL! The blue butterfly's are gorgeous. HUGS, Cynthia

Dear Jill! What a beautiful, colorful album! The shots are all so crystal clear! Looks like you had a wonderful time "collecting" these specimens! I have so many pics of bugs and butterflies and dragonflies, but I am terrible at naming them, so I don't think I'll put them up...Thanks for sharing with us my dear friend...hugs, Dar

A lovely album Jill. You have so much more variety down there. I get really excited if I see a blue butterfly up where we are and we only get the tiny ones. I'm not even sure they are butterflies lol! Jill
