What a wonderful (and beautiful) view you give us of the country you love. It shines from every photo. I think your featured photo may just be the picture of the year, if they had such honors. Thank you for taking us with you. Judy of North Carolina USA

Hi Chris, I so love all of your photo's I have downloaded lots. It's my childhood, I went to school at Dartington, unfortunately the school no longer exists but the college of arts is still there. I now live in Australia and have done o since I was 18, but I never forgeot the magic of Devon and Cornwall. I used to holiday at Postbridge on Dartmoor, wild and wooly. I have never been back and these pictures brought back so many memories. Thank You swendus

I love "The Power of the Sea" photo. Do you ever give authors permission to use your pictures for bookcovers? I am referring to a book I am writing on Meditation. Thank you for your consideration. Khaleghl Quinn

Rod, thanks so much for your recent visit to my San Diego Zoo album. It brings me joy to know you enjoyed my photos, especially those of the Orangutans. They were my favorite part of the zoo and had I not been with my Aunt, i would have sat there for hours watching them. Warmest wishes ~ Jess

Hi Rod, I can see from an earlier message that I said I'd be back. I didn't think it would be this long though. Sorry. My pc virus thingy is all sorted now so can start looking at things at home again. I popped over for a few mins whilst at work as had some spare before starting. Beautiful photos as ever! I will be back either later today or within the next day or so to look at the rest. That's a promise. Hope you are keeping well. Back soon then. Love Chesca xx

Oh Rod, This is just a wonderful album from beginning to end. I loved every village that you visited and I think you have a wonderful eye to capture these scenes at their best. I can imagine living here and how woderful it would be, as I am certain that I did in another lifetime. When I see photos like this, I feel the call of the sea. I thank you so much for sharing this outstanding album and I will be back soon. Warm wishes and keep on clicking. ~Marjie

Dear Rod, This album has your style from start to finish a superb set of images which I have enjoyed so much taking the time to look at and enjoy Not everyone's pictures get that treatment, but yours always do. I know you have taken a long time composing the image for a reason I like ti fugure out why :o) Rod thanks so much for visiting my La'll Ratty and Wasdale album I think for some I did have a polarising filter on but the last few I took in RAW which I'm trying to use more of these days Not many would have noticed it was indeed a Muck spreader that looked Ok in such a fantastic place lol. Wasdale is one of those very special places although it can take quite a long time to get to as it is rather remote but the trip is worth it.The first time you see the screes tumbling into the Lake can take your breath away. I worry because of the best view competition that way to many people will find the place too. Glad I gave you some ideas of places to visit in the Lakes I've a few more to go yet :o) Take care now, Jill

Chris - I so love all of your photos I have ever looked at. I was born in Yeovil, Somerset, and now live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I have been back to the UK a few times since we moved to Canada in the early 70's, and being now in my early 40's (and now with a wife who would live to see the West / Southwest of England), your photos bring back some lovely memories...Thank you...Stuart.
