Hi Jill, this album brought back wonderful memories. It all seems so long ago now! Your photos taken inside the mine are very clear. Superb! I'm going to look at your Via Ferrata photos now. Love Pam

JIll, you certainly get out and about with the club. I enjoy seeing things as you see them (and I don't get as tired). This is another place I have not been and I do think this is the way to see it with a guide. Considering the lighting you have some great shots and I am so glad you include detailed comments. I take my hat off to you. I went underground to a deep cave once and did not feal very comfortable with it but I did do it.. not sure if I would again. I don't get much time to catch up with albums but trying to make the most of a few hours now. hugs Susan

Jill, what a fascinating trip! It is quite an experience to get into a slate mine. I have been in coal mines, but never into a slate mines. I am sure many of you went through a new experience. Thank you for this interesting trip. Best wishes, Suresh

A facinating album Jill & very different to Orchids & Dragonflies LOL. I have been down several types of mines in my time, but never knew there were some underground slate mines, only familier with the big open Welsh slate mines. Eric

WOW, Jill, this is a fantastic album with lots of information in it. As I was going through in the WS Photo Mgr, viewing full-sized photos, I wondered what all that slate was/is used for. Photo #46 answered my question. ... Thanks for sharing your experiences! ... Hugs, Judy
