Hi Lynn, I just watched this on the slide show. I think it is the most beautiful fall color album that I have ever seen. What an incredible treat for you to visit Sequoia National Park and thank you for sharing these fabulous pictures with us. They are jawdropping, breathtakingly beautiful. The pictures with the rays of sun shining through are my favorites, I think, although it is pretty hard to pick a favorite out of these pictures. Will be back to download some of them. .....Marion

hi lynn - i just signed up for an account just so i could ask you a question! i googled "sequoia national park fall photos" and saw your gorgeous pics from last weekend. i hope we don't miss the colors when we go up! i'm going up there with my family next weekend (nov 2-4) and am wondering what part of the park did you go to? did you take most of your pics around grant grove or the lodgepole/giant forest area? please email me at kissaknee at hotmail dot com. i have similar pics of faulkner farms too! took my 1 yr old daughter there last weekend for her first pumpkin patch experience! it's beautiful there and we'll be back. =) thanks so much for sharing and for any info you can give us on how to get some great views/shots while we're in sequoia. fellow lover of God's creation, catheney (pronounced "kiss a knee" --long story)

Hello Lynn: I must say that this is an impressive display of autumn photography! This park seems to be the best place to take fall photos with all the contrasts and different types of compositions. I truly enjoyed viewing this album and downloaded quite a few for my desktop wallpaper. Thank you so much for sharing the stunning beauty of autumn in Sequoia National Park. There are some really beautiful representations of what our beautiful state of California has to offer here. Although from Indiana, I now live in the Sacramento area and am amazed by our gorgeous autumns here. Yosemite absolutely took my breath away the first time I saw it. Thank you Lynn, for pointing me to your Sequoia colours, and God Rays Album. I have just viewed it on slideshow, and downloaded lots of marvellous inspirational shots. Thank you so much for sharing this fantastic tour thru what surely is a God given creation. I've only ever had one truly deciduous tree in Mackay, and that was the Crepe Myrtle - Largostreoma if I've got that spelling right! (beautiful lilac-blue frilly blossoms late Oct/Nov in our part of the woods.) I'm afraid that in a suburban front garden, the leaves were quite a nuisance to the neighbours! But in forests, the "fall" would simply be God's way of replenishing nature's fodder for the trees and shrubs, and accepted over your way as a time of beauty! I find it interesting that "point of view" colours all our perceptions! Must go! hugs. Margaret.
