  • Hi John, lovely photos that bring back very happy memories of my walk with Jill...Even though the weather wasn't so kind for us. I did tell you that Scunthorpe was nowhere near us! ;-) Angie

  • Hi Jill and Jill. I like this walk because it visits two fairly high summits yet it is fairly short and navigation is easy. The only place you could possibly get lost is above Gillercomb where finding your way to and from the summit of Base Brown might need map and compass (or GPS!) in thick mist as the path is not particularly clear on the gound.
