Keith, Helen and I have had similar magic experiences we loved both of them. The pigeons in San Diego are that unafraid - they flew down and ate our of Helen's hand - and we had an chipmunk at Green River walk up to us and eat the chips we handed to him (her?). Thanks for sharing.

Wow Keith! I thought they were your pets! I never imagined that there would be so many wild Cockatoos anywhere. I guess they have to come from somewhere...I love those birds. These are absolutely wonderful shots, Keith, and I'm not going to show these to my Angel because she would be so envious of these Toos in the wild. I would love to surrounded by so many of these beautiful birds. Just love them. Wonder if you could see them often enough to teach them to talk. Angel talks very well. It's been a busy 3 months but hopefully will have time to post pics and write one of these days. I owe you one! Ginny

Keith, what a grand album. I can not believe these birds fly wild there. The only time I have ever seen such a bird has been in a cage! I so love the birds and for me this has been a wonderful visit! Thank you so much for sharing your your break it was absolutely delightful! Leslie

I just had a look at Haigs album and still have a bit of a smile on my face. Fancy thinking the caves would be open after knock off time 5pm :-) It makes such a difference having a local with you. I came to see if you had taken shots the same day, found this album and must say I wish I had been there! I have a soft spot for feathered friends and Australian scenery. The birds look as though they are used to a free feed here. Right place at the right time and a camera always at the ready, well done. Love the shots.
