I am in awe of these photos, Karen and I can't believe you got so close. We don't have moose here in Australia so it was a real treat for me to see these.

Thanks for the photographs they are very nice and reminded me of the wonderful time I had in this park when my family from Ottawa took me and my husband there on a tour. It is really a beautiful park

Hey Karen! HAVE I GOT A SURPRISE FOR YOU!!!!!Grab your camera and passport, pack your toothbrush and your sleeping bag! Hurry, the first ever webshots global express is scheduled for a timely departure at 5PM central time (houston time)- your friends are waiting. It won't be the same without you. Got plans for New Years Eve already? Forget that boring Party or watching the boring ball drop on TV...this is a trip you'll never forget. Tight on money after the holidays?.. no worries...as a small token of my appreciation for your dedicated friendship (and putting up with me D:)through the past years, this trip is all expense paid, so leave your wallet at home..I've spent the past few weeks scouting out locations and making preparations, so I know you'll forgive me for not having visited lately or answered your messages....Happy New Year to you and your family, health, happiness and success! Hugs. Marita http://community.webshots.com/album/561924578VucHSa

You are so lucky to have been able to take such great shots of this magnificent moose! I can't even tell you how dissappointed I was when we drove ALL the way from upper penninsular Michigan to Montreal Canada with tons and tons of moose warning signs and didn't even see as much as a tail! Bummer! These shots are just fantastic! Don't know how you could hold your camera still!Cheers. Marita

and while I am here visiting let me tell you: "You Guys ROCK!!!!":D, :D!!!!Thank you so much for coming along on the webshots friends global express journey. What a success this was and so much fun! Needless to say I had a blast making the album and the arrangements for the trip but that would have meant nothing without all of your fun participation! Reading all your messages (there were over 1200 :D!..) was just, well, overwhelming and the most fun I'll probably have all year - partly the comments left me in tears (laughing :D). I do cherish our great community and for the comming year I hope our webshot experience and circle of good friends continues to grow! Even though I don't have much time all the time to visit, I do so much appreciate all of you and enjoy stopping to view your work (it's not really work, is it, its our fun hobby). So enough ramblin' on. Again happiest of New Years to all of you and may the photo gods ccontinue to smile on you :D...Cheers and thanks a million. Marita

Great shots Karen - I did a lot of canoeing in Algonquin in my younger days, but never did get a good view of a moose. Thanks for sharing. Thanks also for all of your comments on some of my Belize shots. I do appreciate them. Don't forego a trip there jsut cause you see us walking up a big hill (you can ride up the hill too--taxis are always available there) - it is a beautiful country with lots to see and do. Mike
