I love watching the waves crash. Lake Superior gets some violent storms, and even surfers now, but I don't think they are of hurricane strength. They did sink the Edmund Fitzgerald freighter among many others, however. I love watching, but I sure wouldn't want to be out in it. Great photos Angie. Hi Angie - thanks for asking me to look at your album. gosh - I love the ocean so much and you have captured such amazing shots of waves - different stages of the curls, the crashing, the splashing. Just gorgeous shots - I mean it. Makes me wish I could go out tonight and walk along the beach and hear the sound of the waves and smell the salt water. Just gorgeous shots. And I remember when Hurricaine Andrew hit Seaside Heights and how large and beautiful the waves were - great idea to take advantage of the situation to get amazing and beautiful shots of the ocean!~! jane

Not since I was a young boy and my father brought us out to end of the Casino at Asbury Park during a hurricane have I seen such an angry surf on the Jersey Shore. Hi Angie!! I happened to be at someone else's message board and saw your note ... and being ocean deprived at this time of year, thought I'd hop on over for a visit ... hope you don't mind!! I put this spectacular album on the slide show and just sat back and enjoyed ... what an exciting series of images!!!! I really liked how you mixed time of day, light treatment, sky and wave action shots up!! Every new image was a surprise and a delight. Your use of a few shots with the surfer / skim boarders was genius!! My son LOVES to skim board and surf, he'd have been in hog heaven with your friends!! Of course, my favorite is the one you caught with the guy upside down, about to splash ... I hope he didn't get hurt??? Excellent, excellent album .. my bet is, it'll be featured very soon!!!
