First Snow in the Allegheneys

Nice litlle story, the puddle of mud is a little too muddy but the rest is clear and nice. I believe snow is made of crystals and not diamonds! Never mind, the impression is what counts!

Delightful album. I enjoyed your narrative, too (I'm a writer among other things). Very clear shots and great ones of the dogs. I live in the tropics and some people keep Siberian huskies or Malamutes but they never have their full fur - I think it's a shame to have them in this climate!

Very nice pictures and entertaining story - almost like "Twas the night before Christmas!" You don't want to stop looking at the pictures because you'll miss the entire story! Very creative. Lori

Dearest Lois, Thanks so much for your always SO wonderful comments on my featured album of Orta! They really made me very happy! I see you have already snow in your mountains and I took this little walk with you. I love snow, better in pictures though! When a was a young girl and lived somewhere else, we often had snowfalls and I remember how thrilled I was. Now I have changed a bit my mind, especially when I have to go to work in the morning and the streets are all a mess or when I have to get back home climbing our small steep road on foot and slipping all the time! That only happened once in 10 years we live here, thankfully :-) Nonetheless snow pictures are fascinating, hope to see more! Hugs, Ornella

Nice album. Beautiful countryside to take the dogs for a walk in. We had our first snow in Alberta a while ago. I caught a few pictures of our first snowfall as well - if you have a minute check it out. Thanks for sharing your story with us.

Wonderful album. Beautiful captures. This is our kind of country. We have the mountains but, it does not snow often. We can't wait for the first snow. It is unusually warm today. 74 degrees.
