  • Thanks for visiting my Faux HDR album. I picked this album of yours to explain how HDR works. High Dynamic Range assists in bringing out the details in the shadows and keep the details in the highlighted areas from being blown out. Cameras don't take pictures the way the eye sees it in high contrasted compositions. HDR is a method of combining multiple exposed shots (3-6) to capture the details that can be missing when we expose for either the shadows or the highlighted areas.
