Remove the fotos that show the netting and you would have a wonderful album.

I agree with Michelie3, it takes away from the charm to see that the fox is behind a fence.

Thanks for your opinions....however, these photos were taken at a zoo and represented as such. To try and hide that fact would be dishonest.

These are really wonderful shots! It's sad to see such beautiful animal behind a fence, although sometimes, having some of them in captivity, may help to prevent some species extinction. Thank God, in many zoos they are trying to improve the conditions in which they have the animals, trying to reproduce their natural habitat and giving them more space. I agree with your position, even because the fact that you show the reality makes some people react and force the zoos adminitrations to change conditions! Please, don't pay attention to my lousy English writing:))) Greetings, Rosa

Lovely album and they are fascinating animals and not dangerous to people .I had a mother fox with her 12 kits stay under my barn last May which is close to my house. She had them there & took them back to the woods after three weeks & old enough to follow her. This was the third year but other years I had no camera & she only had 2 to three kits. We live on a Island & 15 years ago,Coyotes came across the ice to the island and that is why the foxes won't have their kits in the woods anymore. It's supprising how many friends who live in town had the same thing happen. The fox would have their kits under their garage, etc.! I live in the country. I was also able to get a photo of the father as he is only allowed around the first week after they get running around. Believe me,the mother was busy feeding the 12 kits as I did not feed them for that would make the kits too dependent on humans which is not good. I love this album & your pictures are excellent! Have a good day!..............Diane/P .E.I./ Canada
