- Paola

  • We can find Val Chisone in Olimpic mountains near Turin. In this valley we can see two old and little villages: Pequerelle and Puy. In the 1701st Puy was covered by an avalanche and seven persons died. After this fact inhabitants of Pequerelle built a big wall to protect their village from avalanches. Now these two villages are almost deserted but we can see the big wall. During our trip a fire broke out on the mountain and all the sky became red and full of smoke. Luckily firemen arrived quickly and fire after some hours was put out. It was a very hard experience. I dedicate this album to my friend Maria, enemaria100, that I have known trough WS.

  • Another amazing album! These alpin scenes remind me of the scenery here in the Colorado Rockies. All the best, Bruce

  • This is the most beautiful collection of pictures I think I have ever seen! I LOVE the mountains, and I'm so glad to see below that the fire didn't do too much damage to that beauty!
