We made this trip last year, too. It was the first time I had been to Oregon, but hope it won't be the last. I just loved it. Beautiful album.

Oh Charlotte, this album really left me teary-eyed. I do miss Oregon so very much...wish I could move back there..it is not that Texas is a bad place to live but my heart is and always will be in Oregon, love every inch of the place. Also your shots from Vernonia brought back a lot of emotions from us cleaning up after the last flood. Thanks for posting those though. Mike is from Vernonia I lived there for a while with Mike's parents when we first moved from Germany to Oregon while we were trying to find jobs and a place to live, so the place is very dear to me! Hi Charlotte. I have really enjoyed these photos - saw them all but ran out of time to comment on each one - I'm sure you will understand. It certainly was a great trip, despite the constant rain which provided some wonderful atmosphere in a lot of the scenes.
