I envy your "place on the terrestrial globe" as Joseph Conrad wrote in a short story. Winter or as the Spanish say "Invierno" is my favorite time of the year. I hope someday I can get my winter album featured. Unfortunately to achieve winter shots I must drive my Jeep to the highest peaks which usually means getting past the barricades. Renee, Thankyou so much for taking the time to look at my recent Electric Canvas album, and taking the time to leave a comment, very much appreciated. It certainly was a visual explosion of the senses and difficult to capture how truely amazing and telented the artist were using new technology. It had strengers talking to each other as they watched in awe. We have just had a very long heatwave that broke a 120 year record and exceeded it for an additional week. We are still in a severe drought with water restrictions. We have just had some light showers at last though not enough to fill the empty rivers but enough to settle the dust. It never snows here and winter snow scenes are such a visual delight to us. Love these cooling images and know you are probably fed up of the cold and snow but it is much better than the opposite extreme that we are going through. I would swap places any day, now this reminds me of a film I saw recently.. :-) hugs susan
