Such amazing shots. The reflections in the water are fantastic. We saw flamingos in Florida once at a bird sanctuary but that was the only time. Wonderful pictures. Joan

Rosa, I am blushing ;-) you are too kind and thankyou so very much for your wonderful comments today. I think you looked through some of my favourite recent images! I just keep practising and trying to learn more about what my camera will do in given situations. My trouble is finding the time to get out, then to find suitable subjects and start snappin' . I like nothing more than to take my camera for a walk as do many of our webshots friends. Hooray for Digital cameras, they have made photography more affordable and fun. I see you have a new one and you are going to have such fun learning how to use it. I would very much like to have been here, you are so very lucky. Oh Rosa how lucky this is! They are so beautiful and so elegant and for our eyes such a special treat! Your zoom is very good, because most times when you use the optical zoom on these kinds of cameras the shot is very blurry without a tripod, your shots are sharp! Rosa, you did a very good job with your new camera. A zoom of x18 is much more than most members have so you should not complain...I hope that you'll have some sunny days so that you can take some more pictures of the flamingos and other birds. I watched migrating birds a year ago but could not take pictures of them with my old camera. I wish I had my new camera by then. Thanks for your visit to my album of Petra.
