Sandra, this place is just gorgeous! I love fuschias and I can't get them to grow in hanging baskets at all--guess my thumb isn't green enough. As for the Hydrangeas, I don't have much luck in my yard either. I moved one from my Dad's yard in Illinois to Missouri after he died and it was the most beautiful blue hydrangea in his yard. Here the soil wasn't acidic enough, so it turned pink. Pink was OK, but I wanted blue! LOL That was many years ago, so I no longer have it, but anytime I see a hydrangea of any color, I remember my Dad's gorgeous flowers. Thanks for the memories and for sharing your wonderful photos. Hugs, Sharon

Sandra, thanks for the walk thru the gardens. I've really enjoyed the fuschias and hydrangeas, both my favorites, especially as we get ready for snow tonight. Where are the gardens located?

I haven't been to the Fitzroy Gardens in years and I live so close to it! Isn't it always the way? Your beautiful photos remind me what I've been missing. These are great shots.

Beautiful album Sandra. I especially like the fushia that are so colorful and hang like little bells on the stems. I have spring fever already and it is only January - we'll have two or more months of snow yet. Hope you are enjoying 2008 so far. - Best regards, DeeAnne
