Album Description:
We've lived in Sandwich many years and I know there is a good show of snowdrops each year in the churchyard. I was looking for something to practise using my new macro lens on and I found lots there.

Hello Jill, I love this Churchyard, you call it St Clemments, We have a Little village of the same name in Truro, it wouldn't be the same one would it?? you have some great shots here.

Hi Jill, Super spring pictures. I thought it was going to be St Clements in Hastings, my local church when we lived there. Hope all is well. Chris

Dear Jill, your albums always seem so short to me! You always make everything so interesting! This is such a beautiful album, with the lovely flowers amidst those old stones... I loved all the photos, as always:) I had already been in Sandwich with you, but it was a visit to the town:)) I hope you are feeling great, my friend! Have the doctors already found the right medication dose for you? I sure hope so! There was already some time since the last time I have visited your beautiful albums, but the holidays left me really really tired... and now I'm spending a lot of time outside photographing and walking Nina (who had a little accident yesterday, she hurt her knee, poor little thing! She's walking on three feet! The vet says that maybe tomorrow she'll be much better...) And of course, as I'm taking a lot of shots, I'm posting a lot of albums, LOL. Please, don't try to keep up with me, my dear friend! My torrential production at the moment is impossible to follow:))) I came to the conclusion that I had to do this if I want to post all the thousands of photos that I have filling my hard disk and if I want to take some advantage of the Webshots prodigal "offers"!:)))) So, I get less comments in each album, but much more views in the totality of the albums:)))) Of course, I love to hear from my old friends, from time to time:) And visit them always I can! And you are very special to me, Jill, I think you know that. Thank you for one more lovely stroll in your beautiful country! Love and hugs, Rosa

Hi Jill, What a wonderful journey through an ancient churchyard full of the delights of an English winter and bursting with the life of a promising spring too. I love it. Don UK>

Jill this album is gorgeous! Your macros are so clear and deep, it is pure joy to look at them. Most I enjoyed the snowdrop, which I love so much, but haven't seen any in nature for so many years. Thanks for your wonderful message about a month ago. Time goes by too quickly! More thanks for your friendship and for your wonderful pictures which are just as sensitive as you are.:-) Take care and be well and stay as you are! - Lots of love and a very big hug to you! - Galit

Hi Jill. What a beautiful churchyard. Lovely to see snowdrops. They are a sign to me that Spring is just around the corner. Wishful thinking eh? This miserable, drab, wet weather which we're having in the Midlands is so depressing. I can't wait for warmer weather. I have a trip booked to Italy this Easter, staying in Venice, Florence and Rome. It's been so long since I was in Venice and Florence and of course never with a digital camera. Needless to say I'll be taking zillions of photos. Roll on Easter is all I can say. Belated happy new year to you. Hope 2008 brings you lots of fun times and happy memories. Take care. Hugs, Jayne x

Hi Jill, It's so nice to see snowdrops, a sign that Spring is just around the corner. Your macro lens is doing a great job. I look forward to more lovely close-ups. The church looked interesting. I love flint buildings. There are a lot around our way. Love Pam

Hi Jill, lovely album. I really like the church. Most of the churches up here are of 19th Century construction, and are quite boring. I'm also getting an education about plantlife, about which I know very little. Best wishes, Dave.

Hi Jill, I love the snowdrops. I would much prefer that to what we have on the ground. It's so nice to have flowers in winter I wish we could even see the grass.I wouldn't want all your rain and wind though but it I sure could do without the snow.Your new lens works real well, you have some lovely shots.I can't wait to see what you do with your summer flowers.Take care....hugs..Claudette

Good to see you out & about again Jill. Lovely little album centered on one place, well done. I can see you will be getting a lot of use out of the new lens. Spoke to a guy from SBBOT at Titchwell the other day & he said photos from the group visit up here were on the clubhouse wall. Take care, no twisted ankles this year! Eric

Hi Jill,,, It seems your getting quite handy with that macro lens of yours.I like the old churches also. The flowers are nice to see at this time of year for me when everything here is so bleak. Snowdrops are such a pretty flower, I dont know why I dont have any in my garden. Thansk for the link to this great album. Hugss,, Christy

Hi Jill,a lovely album from this ancient churchyard, the Seasonal flora works well amongst the photos.A great idea to concentrate on one churchyard, makes you look around more for a variety of opportunities that are begging to be photographed,as always,a pleasure to view your work,Regards,Rod.

Hi Jill...belated Happy New Year to all of you. What a lovely album and so nice to see some lovely fresh flowers. I like the lichen and moss colouring too. And the antique greyscale church is very 'moody'. Hope to see you some time this year. Love...Liz
