Thanks for the invitation Carol - I really enjoyed the album. I have seen TV shows about this migration, but I am sure it is even more amazing to see live. Thanks for sharing. Thanks also for your kind comments on my Mt. Vernon album. I don't know how you did it, but I truly believe that you were able to post those comments even before I had uploaded the album today. Thanks again. My wife and I just returned froma 2 week trip to Belize. Give me few weeks to process and make selections, and I will have photos posted from there. I invite you back. Mike

To the Alberts -- I came here from Operation Migration to look at your photos. Thank you so much for sharing these with us Craniacs who live far from Florida. I am originally from Wisconsin -- the other end of this amazing journey -- and transplanted now to the State of Washington and am only able to enjoy this vicariously. Your photos and videos brought tears to my eyes. Thanks so much.

Carol, I'm so thrilled to see this album! & the slideshow! & the video! I've never seen Whooping Cranes here! Best we get outside of Nanaimo are the odd heron and Canada Geese. At full size I can tell they're cranes! Thanks for making this album for the rest of us! Hugs, Leslie

Dearest Carol, it must be fantastic to witness this amazing event and to see the beautiful Whooping Cranes as they are migrating!! I am delighted you were here to see this! I can imagine it is very exciting to see these beautiful birds! It would be similar to my great excitement to see the magnificent Sandhill Cranes and Trumpeter Swans I am sure!! I am so happy to also see the note here from one of the members of Operation Migration, that is so wonderful! I wish you a beautiful evening! Sharon

Best of Luck to the Class of 2007! Awesome event, Carol. Wonderful people who insure survival of this magnificent bird! Whooping cranes stop down here in Texas also, and people have told me they get to be over FIVE FEET tall! Wow. I hope to be lucky to see them with my own eyes sometime!Have a great evening. Marita

I just visited their website and this is indeed a major undertaking and what a dedication to saving the Whooping Crane. I will be reading more later I need to take a break from the "PUTER" & get my daily exercise. Thank you so much for your coverage of this event and your great presentation I loved every minute of it.
