Chilworth Gunpowder Works was one of the largest, most prestigious and longest-lived powder mills in Britain. Established by the East India Company in 1625, it was worked by a string private companies.

I am most impressed by the way your photo so beautifully preserve a sense of the past and that all-important sense of place. I try to do the same with my photos of my home -- Florida.
