TREES in our snowfree WINTER

A delightfull album of winter scenes without any snow! Many shots are just as we might see in England. Spring is just around the corner, the last few days have been great here but I expect not quite as warm as you are down there. Eric

Hello Kaethi and Henri. Lovely captures. I have never had much success myself when taking pics of trees. Yesterday as you know our weather was beautiful and springlike, but this morning we woke to a frost and freezing temps. I guess Spring isn't as close as what we thought, after all we're only just in the middle of Winter. I'll be in Italy for Easter. Venice, Florence and Rome. It has been a while since I visited Venice and Florence and never with a digital camera, so I am looking forward to returning with zillions of photos. Happy Valentine's day for the 14th Feb. Wunderschoenes Vorfruehlings Album, liebes Kaethi, lieber Heinz. Ein Vergnuegn ganz besonderer Art. Sehr Abwechslungsreiche Bilder, toll geknippst. Der Lebensbaum gibt tatsaechlich Raetsel auf. Aber, ob nun Athrotaxis, oder Atrovirens oder wie auch immer, alt, viel aelter als wir ist er auf jeden Fall. Und, er ueberlebt uns hoechstwahrscheinlich , wenn man ihn laesst noch sehr, sehr, lange. Hoffentlich.! Moechte mich auch noch Herzlichst Bedanken fuer die lieben Eintragungen, in meinem "Carnival" Album. + fuer die Komplimente an die Miaueli's. Sie sind ganz uebermuetig geworden, ueber so viel Ehre. lol Natuerlich wie immer von mir mit Freuden gelesen. Aes riesegrosses Merci o no fuer di bsungers schoeni Lawson Magnolia Charte. Sometimes I wish our winters would be as short as yours! But we have learned to make the most of the seasons and enjoy them! I am originally from the tropics and enjoyed the tropical life for 18 years, then twenty years of wet weather in England and now just over 21 years in Canada enjoying all the extremes of the seasons! I have learned to comply and enjoy! Well Kaethi and Henri this album is very cheering for me as it advances the spring a little in my dreams. I am just getting over pneumonia and am doing fine. Dear Henri and Kaethi, I have so enjoyed viewing this album joining you on your winter walks I always love to see trees in the winter time you notice so much more about them then when they are covered in leaves. I can see too that things are well advanced being its only february. Thanks so much for visiting my frosty/misty morning walk album and all your very kind comments. I'm really busy in the house right now decorating just about everywhere and have the builders arriving soon to start work re-plastering following a couple of leaks recently so not much time for webshots but the weather is so good right now I do get out with my camera when I can. First of all, belated happy birthday Henri!!!I can see everyone is so excited with the prospect of spring around the corner...the winter months of January and February are always the hardest to get past. Hallo Heinz und Kaehti, ich habe mit sehr viel Vergnuegen diese Bilder angeschaut. Noch ein paar Wochen und auch wir konnen dann sprechen von einen Frostfreien Winter, die paar Tagen Frost die wir gehabt haben sind schon wieder vergessen. Danke fuer eure Antwort beim Bilder „In Loving Memory“. Freitag eine Woche her ist Bubbles eingeschlafen worden. Er konnte wirklich nicht mehr, er ist bestimmt ueber 2 Jahre alt geworden (wir kennen die Datum seines Geburts nicht, weil er damals in einem Park gefunden worden war, und sein Alter ist damals auf etwa 1 Jahr geschaetzt worden). Wir planen in Maerz ein Zusammensein mit Ferne und Anteros, ich lass es euch wissen wie der Verlauf ist. Ich wuensch euch noch ein schoener Sonntag, liebe Gruesse, Els
