Album Description:
It didn't start out very promising, in fact, the day started with a thick blanket of cloud. About a mile past Maggie's Bridge it began to thin, and the day just got better and better. Ann's pictures at http://www.loweswatercam.co.uk/080210%20Loweswate

Dear Jayne, This must still be one of those memorable days since you moved to the Lakes. I didn't realise you would know the Ashridge Forest. I think apart from it being so busy its a wonderful location. I've found like a lot of places though you don't have to go far from the car park to get away from the crowds . Hope you are feeling better. Take care now. Love, Jill

Some lovely photos Jayne. So pleased to have been there too, albeit on a different summit! Jill

Hi Jayne...wonderful set of photos. I've been lucky enough to experience an inversion, on Coniston Old Man in 2005 - it is an experience never forgotten. The long legs shot is like one on my set of photos - where we look like something from the 70s with those great flared trousers!! Best wishes...Liz

Hi Jayne Lovely set of photographs, nature does provide us with some memorable sights to appreciate, and all we have to do is be fortunate enough to be in the right place at the right time. All the best Dave D

Looked like a cracking day. Seemed a shame to be stuck in Swansea on a stag do but you can't have your cake and eat it!

Hi Jayne, Great pictures from your walk. The cloud inversion was really something quite special. We had one to in the NE Lakes but it was also a bit hazy. Take care, Dave B (ofc)
