The upper overlook still wasn't complete. Turns out we arrived on a day when the volunteers were working on. They have a large rock over the falls cleared off, and they're in the process of setting up a barrier to prevent people from falling off. There's a lower area of granite pools that looked like you could get to the base of the falls from. We skipped it since we had our dogs, and some other people were down with there's. No need to cause any problems. Looks like they have a few new trails that they're cutting in. We headed down one to later find that it was blocked off. Seems like it will be a nice, lower trail along the creek from the bridge to the falls. Should be fun when it's done. We had a lot of fun that day. ~ Jason

Small world. Janeane and I were looking for information on the falls after a friend mentioned this hike. She didn't even realize who took the pictures until I reminded her of our Prima days. We're hoping to head there this weekend with our daughter. Great pics. ~ Jason Wyatt
