It's hard to believe that the California hills can be such a riot of color when I am sitting up here in the Canadian north with snow on the ground! Thank you so much for sharing this glorious colorful scene. It looks like it was worth the wait! We used to live in CA and loved going to the Palmdale and Parkfield/Paso Robles areas for the flowers and remember them so well. Thanks again!!!

Hi Lynn, Thank you very much for sharing these awesome images of the California wildflowers. I have seen nothing to compare with them. The hills look as if Nature has thrown pot after pot of paint all over them! They are a riot of colour! Out of your close-ups the ones I liked best was the picture of the two desert sunflowers and the exquisite blue flowers too, but on a grand scale this combination of orange poppies and baby blues picking up the colour of the beautiful blue sky and mixed with liberal quantities of lush green take my breath away! I had read a book written by Gwen Bristow and she described there this California spring and I cant imagine how that may look, but since I saw your former albums I'm glad to have an impression ,but I heard that this is more and more vanishing by ,I don't know how to say , by needing more land for houses and fields for crops if that is possible in the desert.Thank you so much for sharing and with your leave I'll download some for very beautiful wallpaper I really enjoy!!Greetings from Brigitte
