Hope you enjoy a walk with me through my pictures: Before the moon disappears for its daily rest, and just as the sun peaks over the horizon, I take a walk to listen to nature and see the wondrous sites left from the night. Some say God is ‘Nature’, some say God is a ‘She,’ and some say God is a ‘He,’ but that doesn’t matter as long as God is with me. My solitary walk takes me by a misty bog near Ward’s Cove, Niceville, which is full of life--there are trees tall and barren, frogs croaking , and birds in-flight. The Osprey nest is safe above the fray, being readied for new life in the ‘spring.’ My dream is to have the Osprey, frogs, and such prospering so that in the next millennium the children can touch them and not just read about a life that once was. Since we only borrow the Earth for such a short while, we need to preserve the beauty and life giving resources so generations to come will have a glorious gift from their ancestors. The walk is not just for me, for I carry the morning meal for five abandoned felines living near the marsh that were long ago abandoned by lost souls who cared for themselves more than God's creatures. No matter how rushed, take a moment to reflect on the beauty around you and wonder what if the trees were gone, the oceans polluted, and the birds didn’t fly—how sad would that be to have such a gift only to be tarnished by careless people. Sincerely, Nikecat3
