Album Description:
A perfect day amongst the high fells. Snow lying above 1500', light winds and broken cloud. What better conditions to explore the Buttermere trinity of Red Pike, High Stile and High Crag.

A lovely walk Andrew. It's one of my favourite ridges. Jill

This is, indeed, a great walk, especially in clear, calm conditions, such as you had. And you had the perfect lunch spot with that wonderful view (though I dare say it was a bit on the chilly side up there!). Jo

Hi Andrew, I managed to miss these photos when they were posted. What a great day it was - as you know I was just a few miles away on Hopegill Head and I don't think I can remember a better "winter" day in April in the Lakes. A smashing walk and your pictures do it justice. John

Hi Andrew One of my favourite walks, great photographs of a beautiful area. Does beer ever taste better than after a good walk! All the best Dave D

Wonderful shots of a wonderful day by the looks of it - and good beer at the end. What could be better? Regards Sue
