Hi Dave! I love this album. You have capturing nature at its best. It reminds me of the walks my husband and I used to take around the little lakes here in St. Charles. This year I haven't been able to get out as much to the lakes because of the eye surgery I had, but maybe there will still be some things to photograph at the end of August. :-) Thanks for the g/b message about the Heron. He just flies into the St. Louis Zoo and makes himself at home, feasting on the fish in the ponds/lakes. And he's not afraid of the visitors getting pretty close to take photos. Have a great day! G'day from down under Dave. Many thanks for being impressed by the Winter Sunset with strong cold winds and choppy seas, taken only last week and yes it is still on the chilly side with some light rain. We can hear the plants slurping up the moisture, they are in shock as the drought has been the longest and worst in 100 years. I have enjoyed this very colourful album with such a wonderful variety of delicate wildflowers, and the many critters that came your way all beautifully captured. I imagine it would have taken a while to patiently capture the dragonflies, at least it does me as they are so darn fast. A pleasure to meet you and now bookmarked. regards Susan
