Well done Andrew and Andrew's dad. You made the best of poor conditions. John (OFC)

Hi Andrew. All our family holidays were spent in Rosthwaite, from the age of 0! So I love this area. Thanks for giving me another chance to enjoy it!! Looks like you had a lovely walk - despite the weather. All the best - Rachel

Dear Andrew, Looks like you had an action packed few days planned and your Dad must trust you know where you are going when you find these routes Looks a good start to you stay. Take care now, Jill

Pity about the cloud on High Spy, but at least there was no sign of the dreaded rain (unless my eyes deceive me?). Two more Wainwrights ... or maybe Castle Crag and High Spy were already in the bag? Jo

Hi Andrew, Thundery here today & i keep loosing my internet connection :-( Perhaps it will be 5th time lucky & i'll finally be able to leave this entry! As i've said before...I wish i had the energy to do a walk after the drive up. Despite the low cloud you managed to get some good bright shots. Wonder which summit is next? All the best, Angie

Well done you for finding that descent route in those conditions. I noticed David H ascended via that route which must be easier. Regards Sue

Hi Andrew, looks like you made a good day of not the best day (if you get my drift). Lovely greenery and some fine views. Very bright conditions if not sunny. Nice one, Steve.
