Andrew, I have done both Fisher Wife's Rake and the Fornside Peat Track several times but never combined them into one circuit before. On the photo mentioning Spion Kop quarry you asked why it was called that. Spion Kop was the scene of a battle in the Boer War. The Kop end at Anfield, Liverpool is also named after it.

I'm surprised it has taken 12 years to do that one John, a really interesting walk. Two UWR's in one walk again...my turn to say that's on my list. Cheers, Andrew
