Wasn't riding in a hot air balloon an awesome experience? I think it is the type of adventure that a person cannot describe, it must be experienced. I hope you enjoyed your flight as much as I enjoyed mine. I enjoyed your album and I hope you enjoyed mine. Take care.

Hi Marjie! Thanks for your comment on my Water Lilies POTD yesterday. This album is great and reminds me of the 8 years I lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where we had the biggest balloon fiesta in the USA in the first week of October. Best Regards. Majed

Marjie, I always wanted to attend a hot air balloon festival and ride in such a balloon. Therefore, I'm glad that you shared this beautiful album so I could at least do it virtually... Dear Marjie, what a delight this was to see - sorry I'm late getting here. Your shots are superb as always and watching the slideshow made this album like a documentary! Our chance to go up in an HAB at the 2000 Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta was 'scratched' because of an early morning low ceiling of clouds and the flight regulations, but we had a wonderful week of viewing hundreds of others go up on other days. Dear Marjie, What a lovely experience for you to have. Where I last lived, before I came here, there was a balloonning club nearby, and at weekends I used to listen out for the sound of the burners keeping the baloons topped up, and run out to watch them floating over my home. So graceful, a beautiful sight. I often used to wonder what it would be like to be up there. Now, because of your great pictures I can get a feel of how it would be. Colorful, pretty - I didn't know Quincy had a HAB festival. I lived in Kent for many years, there was quite a group of balloonists that would fly on weekend mornings, they took off over near Frager Road and came over my house just after dawn. There has been too much development, they haven't flown in the valley now in nearly 20 years. - Madge
