  • As Andrew says, a lovely route. Glad we made that detour to the summit of Nitting Haws to take in the impressive view down into Borrowdale. Jo

  • Its an interesting route down or up from/to High Spy via Nitting Haws - a great viewpoint with a name that conjures up all sorts of images! Add in Rigghead and/or Castle Crag and its a great walk all round. Andrew
