As Andrew says, a lovely route. Glad we made that detour to the summit of Nitting Haws to take in the impressive view down into Borrowdale. Jo

Its an interesting route down or up from/to High Spy via Nitting Haws - a great viewpoint with a name that conjures up all sorts of images! Add in Rigghead and/or Castle Crag and its a great walk all round. Andrew
