Album Description:
I know little about Fungi, these are found walking the woods. Identification is difficult with 1000's of species, experts use magnifying glasses. facinating & colourfull but neither animal or vegetable they command attention when seen

Eric: again an excellent compilation - not just the result of a few walkings through the forest! What an immense patience to arrange this album - and determination needed no doubt still more time than walking, than assembling the pictures. Our reflection-conclusion is the same as in our Mushrooms comments: you cannot, should not leave these albums just as "two more" in your -fabulous- Webshots album collection, you must look for an editor!!! Hope to find your agreement - I just regret not being editor (no more). -Our compliments, and best wishes: Kaethi and Henri

Eric, All the crawling around was worth it! They are amazing. No fairies sitting on them? Joyce

A very impressive collection of fungi here with wonderful colours and textures. I find fungi really fascinating but I'm not that great at shooting them! Thankyou for your kind comments on my 'Cornwall' photos - best wishes Anna

What is really interesting is that even mushrooms/fungi have a lot of different colors to brighten up the landscape. Interesting album and subject matter.

I see that you are a "fungus fan" too. I find them extremely interesting. Most photographers I know say "why would you want to photograph mushrooms?"

Eric, Your albums continue to amaze and inspire me. This one is obviously a labor of love. If you had all of the impossible identifications you could publish it as an excellently illustrated guide to Fungi. Thank you for sharing and for your inspiration and encouragement. Dear Eric: we are favoured by your present position as retired scientist -how otherwise would you have had the possibility to assemble such a large collection of Fungi. An amazing and fascinating group - somehow despairing by the difficulty or impossibility to call them by their names! It must be added that following-photographing this group needs good physical condition, easy going down on knees..., sharp eyes, lots of patience and endurance! Thank you to have us profit from all these your qualities! With very best wishes (and thank you for your kind recent GEs!): Kaethi and Henri

Dear Eric! What a splendid, comprehensive album this is! You have covered a large gamut of various species; this must have taken a lot of time and effort. The photography is nothing but excellent. This is truly a unique album. I salute and compliment your preseverance. Thank you for shring this 'Labour of love'. Best wishes, Suresh

What an interesting album Eric. I had no idea there were all these colors and shapes of fungi. Of course, here in the desert we don't have any! This must have taken you quite a while to collect all these photos. Excellent photos. Susan

I saw only the half of this prodigious album and am very interested by the very nice images of the great variety of English speaking mushrooms (LOL French are often the same species); I will come back Jacques
