"Little Italy (population 3,000), a community in San Diego, California, dates back to the early 1900s, when many Italians from Genoa and Sicily were drawn to the area by the climate and the geographical similarity to their homeland. Today, Little Italy is once again a vibrant neighborhood, with more than 400 businesses. It is downtown San Diego’s oldest continuously operated neighborhood business district." Ding, I can see why you like going here. There's just so much color bursting in this place, flowers especially. And the Italian pasta dishes you took pictures of look oh so yummy! Glad you shared this wonderful album (and exciting place) to all of us! I thoroughly enjoyed the views!

The neighborhood of Little Italy in San Diego lies slightly North of downtown near I-5 and the SD International Airport. It is my favorite place to go when I yearn for Italian food. The houses are colorful, the people are warm and it is a great place to walk around with its little shops on India Street.
