Hi Stan. I've so enjoyed the slideshow of your collages! Queensland, I love it! We fled to Sydney NSW during the 2nd WW, under the threat of a Japanese invasion, but returned to Qld. in 1947, when I was 10 years old - we'd come home! Mackay was my Home stamping ground for 69 years, then we came out here to Glenden, 176 ks. WSW of Mackay. Vast change in climate - much drier atmosphere, being so far from the Ocean, so your photos brought on an acute attack of nostalgia. My photos of the plants I've rescued from my extensive Mackay Garden, and brought out here, show that many will survive out here if protected by shade houses, under trees. They are under severe attack by termites, so I cannot take any potted plants back to Mackay if and when we return. Must take some new shots, and upload them.
