I love woodpeckers, but I haven't had much luck photographing them. I don't have a back yard filled with them, and even if I did I don't have a big enough lens to get them close up. Thanks for sharing this wonderful album, and thanks for taking the time to write a quick note. That's how I discover most of my favorite Webshots pictures. Jon, Seattle.

Before our move last year we had several pair of woodpeckers, downy, red bellied and the occasional redhead and once even a pileated! I sure loved watching them and miss them a lot. Thanks for sharing yours. Judy of North Carolina USA

How I wish our back yard would become host to such fascinating wildlife - but around Israel we usually have to satisfy ourselves with stray cats. :-) Thanks for your comments on my CC photos! Adi

This is a wonderful album. I so enjoyed the father and son hairy woodpecker pictures. You did a really fine job of capturing a bit of their world. Delightful photos !!

Brenda, I loved your album. Your backyard must be a paradise for bird-watching! We get a few flickers and a few woodpeckers around here in the winter looking for food, but I never see them in the nest! This is a fabulous album. ~~Sharon
