This brings back so many memories, I grew up both on and in the river. Love all the wildlife, and scenery of a river. Thanks for stopping by my vanishing point challenge photos. Très chers Heinz et Kaethi, c'est toujours un grand plaisir de recevoir des nouvelles de vous. Je m'émerveille de vos commentaires, et de vos observations bienveillante. Cet album "Tulipes et autres..." aurait vraiment été trop volumineux et c'est pourquoi je l'ai scindé pour ne pas "effaroucher" un possible visiteur, et encore, ce n'est peut-être pas assez... Je devrai dorénavant "modérer mes transports" comme on dit ici!. Et mieux veiller au "poids" de mes images! Comment allez-vous, chers amis? La santé est bonne? De nouvelles excursions en perspective? J'ai une certitude, c'est de revenir visiter et commenter cet album "River, Lake and Pond" qui sert actuellement de véhicule à mon message.Question: comment trouvez-vous le nom scientifique ou le nom tout court des plantes et des fleurs qui émaillent vos précieux albums? Encyclopédies, Wikipédia? J'aime bien pouvoir nommer les sujets de mes photos. Tout comme vous faites. Un gros merci à l'avance. Encore une fois, mille mercis pour votre visite et vos commentaires. Bonjour mes amours! Je crois que le mot backyard signifie "cour arriere", tout simplement, sauf que nos amis americains et canadiens ont transforme ces lieux en petits paradis de fleurs, d'arbres et de rocailles! C'est dans ces havres de beaute qu'on recoit maintenant, la famille et les amis pour de bons repas barbecue ou pour l'apero! Quand il fait beau, naturellement! Ce qui n'est pas le cas cet ete! Si comme moi, vous n'avez pas de "backyard" parce que vous vivez en condo ou en appart, vous n'avez qu'a reluquer chez vos voisins ou chez vos enfants:)))Merci pour votre visite a mon mari, Jean-Guy et pour vos gentils commentaires! Hello Henry and Kathi, I have enjoyed this album very much. It is so nice to have this piece of nature so nearby. I can fully understand that you can’t stop taking pictures. It is indeed a wonderful area and there is always something to be seen during the whole year. I really loved all pictures in this album.
