Album Description:
In Aug 2009, for the first time I visited Pasig Rainforest Park, & under pouring rain. Thought my day was ruined, but surprisingly, photos turned out OK since most of my subjects took on a rather refreshing "wet look" - from boys to flowers & trees!

In this place this lovely rainy day resulted in a beautiful photoalbum. I remember photo's of parts of Manilla, overflooded. In May 2009 it was Chan-Hom that hit Anda and seriously damaged the familyhouse of our friend. We were glad that we could help them built a stronger house. Those typhoons can be very destructive. You were lucky to see this, thank you for sharing this special album.

This is a beautiful collection of pictures from Pasig city park. The raindrops on the flowers really give the blooms a refreshing look. I know that Pasig was drenched by Ondoy so I hope the park can recover from that massive pour of rain. Thanks Mary Ann for showing this album full of beautiful flooms.

Pasig City in Metro Manila boasts of a park built by the local government for its constituents. Pasig Rainforest Park is open free to the public. It is located along F. Legazpi Street in Maybunga, Pasig City. Park amenities include a swimming pool, tennis courts, amphitheater, skate park, obstacle course, water slides, a butterfly garden, basketball courts, karate area, ballroom dancing hall, function hall, fitness center and a mini petting zoo. Of course, there is ample space for picnic-goers.
