  • I'll defend all my ignorance about our Washington State environment by saying I at least read William Dietrich's book, "The Final Forest" (The Battle For The Last Great Trees of The Pacific Northwest). Dietrich was a staff writer for the Seattle Times. I blame cooking with teflon = as the contributing factor for a non-stick memory on so many things : )

  • TERRIFIC documentary of the beautiful topography - and all the flora that decorates it. The channel 9, PBS production - "Over Washington" best expresses the state I grew up in. And the backcountry - it still exists as always has. I wont express any of my other thoughts about what changes I've seen. I don't want a stage hook to reach out and pull me off-stage. Thanks for the pleasure ! SINCERELY ... :^)
