Album Description:
Happier of happy though I be, like them I cannot take possession of the sky, mount with a thoughtless impulse, and wheel there, one of a mighty multitude whose way and motion is a harmony and dance magnificent. - William Wordsworth

Hello, Sam, What a delightful album! I have enjoyed looking at each and every beautiful picture of these lovely birds in their haven on your property. They are very fortunate to have found the shelter provided through your kindness and generosity. Although I need to get back to more work right now, I'll be back as soon as possible, my friend, to write about individual pictures here! --Warm wishes, Rebecca

Hello Sam! You have an array of beautiful birds in your yard...It took me a long time to get birds at my feeders this Winter. I finally figured out that I had hawks in the area and was feeding on the birds that I was feeding! I was told they are territorial, however, I AM TOO! I was told to get rid of the hawks, to quit feeding the birds...that is not in my jurisdiction. I love feeding the birds and watching them. I had 2 male and 2 female Re Mustache Woodpeckers (flickers) at one time feeding from the bird feeder. The blue birds are repeat feeders as well as gold finches and house sparrows. I threw out some old bread and it attracted the starlings. Thanks for stopping by my "A Sunday Drive" album...it's always a treat to see you've visited my corner of our world...Have a great weekend!!! Deb

I wish I had birds like this in my garden. We have a family of Magpies that think they own the house and they are so noisy! The baby who has now outgrown his parents sounds like a foghorn when its dinner time! Thanks so much Sam for all your nice comments on my Wolf album. I really love the afternoon I had there. I had seen photos here on WS of photos taken at a Wolf Sanctuary in California, so before I went to NYC I googled Wolves and was so exceited to find one near NYC and even happier when I could arrange a visit while I was there. If ever I get to your side of the globe again (if I rob a bank or win lotto) I am going to go to do some Wolf visiting again! Have a nice weekend, Cheers Robyn :)

Hello my dear Sam, you add some magnificent pictures of birds in this fabulous album! This is a pleasure to look at them, and discovering some little beauties, quite unknow here. Here, the spring will come soon, and I will try to photograph birds from South France, but don't have so much species who visit me! My small visitors are rather shy and this is better, the neighbor big cat is too much dangerous for them. Thanks for sharing with us so beautiful pics, and many thanks also for your nice comments on my Old Villages album, very much appreciated. All shots where taken in Lozere and Aubrac Plateau, very deserted places as I love! Dear Sam, wish you a wonderful day, warmest regards and big smiles, Geneviève

Beautiful collection of birds! What a chance to have so many species, and throughout the year! We, too, are well equipped for bird watching, but currently have scarcely more than six species approaching the house (on the foot of the French Pyrenees). I think this low variety is still due to shooting everything flying around in former years. - Best wishes, and many nthanks for your kind CC entries today!

Beautiful shots of bluebirds. I love watching them in our backyard and I keep a birdfeeder well-stocked to keep them coming. They are lovely birds. Thank you for sharing your pictures and also for your congrat message about being in the WS spotlight.
