Thank you so much for this album. Your photographs are beautiful and exciting. You got such close and clear pictures, it's really amazing. I love the different postures of the animals you captured and also enjoyed many of the names you gave them. Please keep taking these photos, I will be looking for them. Thanks again.

Incredible pictures!! I just have to ask you though, and I would so much appreciate a response Brandi... How close do you get to your subject when you are taking these close-ups? I am sure you have a special lens, but what is it, and virtually how scary is this with these wild animals, knowing they could turn on you if they knew you were within range? I am just curious, I have always wanted to know this. You can email me at my personal email adddress which is loriarnold@comcast.net. Also come and visit my page at loriarnold101..Thankyou Brandi

Hello there - your talents have all been wonderfully displayed, the shots magnificent and as is the case with your other albums, predicted as definite features. You have some really superb photos amongst all your albums and they are being thoroughly enjoyed. It must be wonderful living in a country where conservation is of such great importance, giving you the opportunity to put your favoured interests into practice - and enable all the WS viewers to be so very spoiled with your capabilities - congrats on yet another fantastic achievement. Best wishes, Sue

on the "White Wolves" pic, I took it into Photoshop and did a bit of touch-up, you're welcome to go to my album "Animal Wallpapers" and download it, then use it if you wish...I do a lot of cloning, some of my work is quite good, I just did a bit of 'change' to this pic. Thanks again for sharing your rare talent in photography. http://community.webshots.com/album/493923971PdLSUC/1 - Jeanie

The comment before about the antelope was correct, it's a bongo, not a kudu, not only because of the horns, but bongos are darker, and their lines (that run vertical on their bk)are thinner. And, like he said, those horns are very different

This is wonderful--I can't begin to think how you were able to capture such remarkable photos!I know some are in animal parks, but the moose and bighorns look to be in their natural setting! You can see every hair on the Canada Lynx! Captive or not, these photos are spectacular!---Nancy

Another job well done! Seeing the white bison, "Out of Place," is very rare and the American Indian view them as sacred. Do you know if this one is still around? The other three images that come to mine as favorites are, "Down by the River," "Mr. Boss," (he sure was watching you), and "Major Rack." I miss living were I could take photos of these wild critters. Thank you. Lynn, Bonanza/Oregon, USA

Hi, again. Now have downloaded a total of 20 photos, among my favorites being Jaguar (spotted), Mother's Love, Amur Leopard, Jag Stare. Mr. Otter seems to have an air of superiority and is very aristocratic. You've managed to capture the NATURAL quality of these animals (as opposed to other photographers whose animals seem stilted, posed, and almost drugged in their expression). Have added you to my list of favorite members. Thanks again! Miriam Mishory

Absolutely beautiful and exciting album! Have already downloaded 11 photos because they immediately captured my heart. Now, I'll go over all of them again as a slideshow and will probably download many more. You've captured the essence and character of these animals. Particularly amusing are the otters, chipmunk, fox squirrel, silly little rabbit, "end of the line" and "loudmouth." I am not a photographer, but a passionate animal lover(particularly cats) and your album has moved me greatly. Thanks so much. Miriam Mishory

Spellbound and speachless. For me, that am an amateur, it's a big exultation when I can make a decent photo of a flower or a building, but one cannot make photos like yours if they're not expression of the passion of a life. And passion for life, indeed. And you've put under our eyes all these animals, in the glory of their beauty, and I think to myself "Thanks God they still exist", so far has often gone our mind from these beautiful friends, whith which we share the world in a too often anfair coexistance. Thank you! Ale :-) from Italy

Hi Ronnie and Frances, Thank you kindly for your reply. You are most certainly correct,... the lenses definitely make the difference to photo quality. I know when I decided to purchase a 20D, I wanted to select better quality lenses then kit lenses for the 20D. After doing some research, I ended up purchasing Two Tamron lenses( 28-75mm f2.8 XR Di & macro 90mm 2.8 XR Di)and one canon (EF 70-200 f4L USM)including a tamron 1.4X converter. Before deciding on the Canon 70-200 f4L USM, I had also handled the Canon 70-200 f2.8L IS, but just couldn't fathom myself being able to handle the extra weight and bulk of that lens on hiking trails. lol Thanks again for your reply. I look forward to viewing more of your wonderful photos again in the future. Take care and hope you guys enjoy a wonderful Xmas! Sandy Stewart:)

Your Snow Leopard picture is a real winner. You might want to make it your lead shot for viewers.

Accidentally, I stumbled over your address and...it was a revelation. I am a birdwatcher (no time however nowadays to wander around) and the birds drew my attention first. But all pictures are taken in sanctuaries, I believe (rings and so on). But notwithstanding that they are all very nice work and sharp. Congratulations. A Dutchman, living in Japan. I will be back.

Really really beautiful. You have a real talent. You kept me viewing one album after another when in fact I need to go home and have dinner! Well, I better stop chattering. I'll leave some of the beauty in your albums for some other time. See you, Orly
