Hi Karen: This is the first time I have viewed this album. Wow! what a lot of snow. We don't usually get this much snow here on the west coast. The blossom trees have been in bloom since the end of February. The southern coast of British Columbia is the warmest place in Canada. The snow is very pretty to look at in your photos. Thanks for sharing. Sandie/Canada

Hello there - you are SO lucky to get something as special as snow. It really makes winter all the more beautiful and would certainly be a huge improvement on our awful environment during the same season. With the exception of two very light snowfalls in all the 40 years I've lived in Johannesburg, the closest I've got to visualising something as beautiful is the result of a hailstorm that produced hail stones the size of golf balls! Although we don't get the snow, unlike Peter, we used to - not too often now - get some really awful frost in winters that killed everything in the garden! Great job - and I bet even you thought worth every one of the minus degrees... lol! Most enjoyable. Thanks. Hugs, Sue.

Hello Kat and many thanks for your kind comments in my guestbooks. I really appreciate greatly all that you say, believe me. Now looking at this album of yours it just amazes me that there can be so much snow at one time. We had some pretty heavy falls when we lived in England (we left there in 1970) but where we live now snow and frost are unknown. How on earth do you cope in conditions like that? I just heard from a friend in Kent, England, who said that one day last week the entire county was virtually closed down and travellers were advised not to go there. This is all so hard for us to take in!! I love the look of your home - is it timber built? And who has the job of keeping it painted? Best wishes, Peter

Hi Kat, I sure hope the weather in Pennsylvania has eased a bit since these photos were taken! It sure looks a bit on the cool side. Thank you for viewing my Favorites album, I’m sure I know why you loved the pic of the kitty in the tree. She was a cutie, no doubt about that. You’re right, this is my second featured album (I feel so overwhelmed) but not in a month. The last was on 9th September, 2004. I will take your advice and keep on taking photos. All the very best from Keith, Sydney.

Wow! I can't believe the depth of this snow - halfway up your house! It must have been a little scarey just walking outside to photograph it. You have given me such a "glow" from your lovely compliments. I wish I were a "professional& quot; photographer and artist, but that would mean I'd be making some money from these hobbies. Unfortunately, that is not the case, but who knows? Perhaps someday... :-) Moody and MeMe are really good cats with even temperaments, but they are neither one "lap cats" and don't tolerate a lot of petting. Mostly they endure a brief rub, or rub themselves against my legs when they want something. Come to think of it, that's the way a lot of people are too, isn't it?
