  • I have missed you having new pictures on here too. Love your all of your pictures, they are beautiful. I do love flowers and plants. I only have a deck as I live in a Condo, so it is rather hard gardening with the heat off the cement. But I do my best and enjoy it.

  • Hello Jane! It was a BIG joy for us to have 'peonierose' back in our guestbooks!!!!!!!! This album shows us how your garden will be just now, we imagine you surrounded by wonderful spring flowers! Thanks for your comments, as nice as ever! Oh yes, Panterli LOVES our flowers, and all her friends do so! As you are telling about your cats: when even it's possible, ours too, make their beds inmidden of our flower beds!!! We have to put sticks everywhere to protect the smaller flowers and plants; but sometimes, our fourleg friends are stronger, laying them down, having nice naps on our squished flowers... :-))) Have a wonderful weekend, Jane! Warm wishes and lots of hugs, Henri and Kaethi

  • Hi Jane! Your Nelly Moser Clematis is gorgeous!!! I don't know what else you have added, but you will have to forgive me because my brain isn't in gear this morning with all that is going on around here!!! I don't think I have a Nelly Moser, but it has been a really good year for Clematis--it definitely was out at your place!!! :-))) Lots of hugs! Sharon

  • Hi Jane! I whole-heartedly agree with roseflicker! You are to be commended for your excellent eye for composition and also give Rod a little pat on the back for helping you plant all those gorgeous tulips last fall--we all benefited from that hard work. Have a happy Sunday! Bob

  • It's me again! I have never seen any flower around here named Wallflower; it's gorgeous. Again, I'm really jealous of all those different varieties of tulips and you have photographed them so well. I wonder where Wallflower got its name; I thought that was what I was at the school dances way back when!!!! :-)))) Lots of hugs! Sharon

  • I guess your name is Jane. ":O) My name is Matt Patterson from Poway,(San Diego)Ca. I grew up in Medford, Oregon and graduated from Medford Senior High. (Guess that dates me.) I have been looking for a picture that was on WEBSHOTS of "Valley View Lane" on Medfords east side. Was thinking YOU might have been the one that put it on there, but I can no longer find it. It was a great screen saver and I was wondering if you might have this old photo or know someone who does? Have enjoyed your photos of 'home'. Almost make me want to go back and then I see thier weather reports. ":O) I'll look forward to hearing from you. Respectfully, mattpatt@mail.com Gby

  • Hi Jane! Wonderful additions! The sunny daffodils (should we change the name 'narcissus' in our albums in 'daffodils', or do you use the name 'narcissus', too?), the golden forsythias and the wonderful aubergine tulip, we love them all! Thanks! Have a wonderful Spring weekend! Henri and Käthi

  • Hi Jane! We like to look forward to Spring flowers!!! Yours are beautiful!!! Amazing the 'Bug's eye view'! :-))) We never have looked at tulipes from down there...! Phantastic colors of the pansies! And, of course, we like the doves! Your guestbook entries are wonderful, thanks! You mention the dreary Oregon; so we have been lucky to visit it, many years ago, with a blue sky! Here too, usually November and December are wett, but this year we mostly had blue sky. Big holiday hugs and best wishes, Henri and Käthi

  • Hi Jane! You certainly did have a "Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood!" I love all the flowering trees! Spring certainly has arrived there. And the new photos of the Mourning Dove are so precious. Do your cats try to chase the birds when they're eating at the feeders? :-) Thanks for your sweet comments in my albums. Bob and I have had a rather quiet day; no photos today! I'm glad Petie got two doggie treats. Which one of the dogs is the most spoiled? I bet it's one of the girls! LOL :-))) I hope I didn't give you the wrong impression about our visit to the Oregon Coast. We thought it was gorgeous and had a great time, but I don't think anyone can arrange to have the weather to be perfect for their whole vacation, so we made the most out of it. When we were up at Silver Falls State Park, it was raining that day also and we hiked the trails around to the falls with the umbrella over the cameras and I think we were able to get better photos of the falls in rainy conditions rather than sunny conditions. Sometimes, we just rearranged our schedule to fit the weather. Oregon is such a beautiful state. I'd love to visit there again someday. Hope you had a great day! Give everyone hugs for us! Sharon

  • Oh, Jane! You guys are so far ahead of us in the springtime race. I have only seen gumballs from the neighbor's 6 sweet gum trees coming up in our yard. We rake several trash cans full every winter and spring. I wish God had figured out a purpose for the gumball other than to make spiders out of them using pipe cleaners. ;-) They probably help the hospital emergency rooms because people trip over them and sprain or break their ankles. I have been tempted on several occasions to sneak out in the middle of the night with our chainsaw and start cutting, but that's not really my personality, so I don't! I just keep peace and wish I could! :-((( Now that that is out of my system, I really haven't seen any sign of life in the garden, but I have heard rumors that the crocus and daffodils are starting to pop up. I need to go look around. We're getting 50's today and 60's tomorrow and SUNSHINE!!!! Thanks for letting us see from your progression of spring flowers that there is still hope here in Missouri for spring. Have a great weekend. Sharon

  • Hi again, Jane! You didn't tell me you had another user name! I love the spring flowers; the colors are so pretty. The Robin photo is really special. I just love Robins; we have some that stay around here all winter, but they are really running around in large groups now. They are so fun to watch when they hunt for worms. Thanks for sharing. Sharon

  • Jane, I would just like to comment on your latest addtion of the beautiful Robin, you have added to this precious album, and reminds us of the joys of spring when everything is awakening and comming to life. The Robin is very much a part of Spring and another one of our little darling birds bestowed on us, along with all the other precious creatures, that adds so much joy to our lives, each one with it's own beauty. you have shown this beauty with your usual great photography, a wonderful shot so crisp and clear. Just the other day when I was going out, as soon as I stepped out my door the birds were tweeting like mad. I stood there tweeting back at them having our little coverstion together. They get used to the routine, I thought they are wanting their breakfast, so I turned around and went back in and brought out their breakfast. They never stopped tweeting while I was attending to their needs, they are so grateful and very intelligent. I believe thats why we are drawn towards all animal and wildlife they respond to our outward love for them. Just like the squirrel Jane that you superby photographed and let you get close. While I am here writing to you the birds are tweeting. I can see them through my window I am going out now to feed them. Thanks for being such a special friend I have loved every min of it.My deep feelings together with yours as made a beautiful friendship. I will never forget you, you have left a deep impression on me. I have never met a nicer and TOP CLASS person anywhere with all the right qualties. A huge thankyou for sharing and caring you are tremendous and always will be to me. You are so humble tolerant and patient with the sweetest soul and I love you deeply. I send all my love to you and Rod and all your family, and wish you the very best of everything always and forever.Love as high as the skies and as deep as the ocean.Elaine.
