Hi Luc! I love your Butterfly album. You really captured some great photos. I love the colors in No. 4; the pink flowers and the dark butterfly. Also, it is really hard to find the Atlas Moth and you took such a great photo of it. Thanks for sharing. Thanks, Luc, for the kind comments in my featured album today. It was a surprise! I still love to look at your butterfly album. And even though I've said it before, Butterfly 4 is still my favorite; I love the combination of colors of the flower with the butterfly. Bob and I almost got dehydrated the last time we went to the Butterfly House in St. Louis County. We stayed all afternoon, and even though we go out for water occasionally, it is very warm and humid inside the Butterfly House and I think we stayed too long. LOL :-)) I'm anxious to see more of your butterfly photos soon. Thanks for sharing. Sharon

Hello Luc, I love this album of butterflies and moths. You are an expert in several ways that I truely appreciate having tried my hand at macrophotography myself. The problems of getting close enough to a butterfly or moth and having time to compose the shot without them flying away are hard to overcome. One of the greatest technical problems is focus and depth of field. To get the maximum depth of field you have all kinds of problems to overcome. You have conquered all of these and I salute you. I would like to know what lens and/or other equipment you are using to capture these beautiful insects. Thanks for sharing these great photographs with us. Bill Cable (heyburn3)

Hi Luc! I'm so impressed with this butterfly album. It's been a long time since we've been to the Butterfly House here in St. Louis. We usually wait for a cold winter day and then we enjoy the indoor temps of plus 80 degrees in the Butterfly House. I wish you had lots more time for photo opportunities because I just love your style of photography and awesome photos. Thanks for visiting my Colorado album again. Bob and I are getting almost too old now to hike too much, so we did a lot of driving on this last trip and searching for the little ghost towns. It was fun! Hi Luc! It's me Sharon, not Bob! Thanks for the kind comments on the Elephants and the Orchids! I just sent Bob out this morning to MBG to see how the peonies were doing. They were beautiful the other day, but after the little rain we had this morning, they may be hanging their heads. Peonies are pretty, but they can't take much rain before they fall over. I have a broken toe from about two weeks ago and when we took the iris photos I walked around the gardens with a hole in my shoe so my little toe didn't hurt too much. But I really did overdo, so Bob was very happy to cover MBG for both of us today! :-)) I still love viewing this Butterfly album; they are so gorgeous and Bob and I know from experience that taking butterfly photos are one of the most difficult things to do. Hi Luc! I just had to come back to this awesome butterfly album. It is so beautiful. I recently went to the Butterfly House over in St. Louis County. Bob had gone to our son's home in another city to help them get ready for a move to another house and I decided I was going to spread my wings and fly to the Butterfly House all by myself. I ended up taking photos of all the tattered and torn old butterflies for some reason, but managed to enjoy the day in spite of hundreds of school children taking field trips. :-))) It was one of those fun days when it didn't really matter whether I had any decent photos, but just had a good time watching the butterflies. :-)) Hope you're having a wonderful week and thanks for all your kind comments in my albums. Hello Luc. I invite you to look at my new Flower album Part two, I think you will like it even better then my featured album Flower because it is 100% made of pictures taken with my new digital camera. My old cameras needed adjustments with the settings and it was too expensive to have them repaired so I prefered to make the jump into digital and I don't regret it a bit. This is a splendid and very well done album of butterflies that you made. My favourite pics are #30 and 60. Your photos are very crisp and colourful. Hi Luc, your macros are fantastic and Montreal sure has the most beautiful botanical garden with a wonderful collection of butterflies! Isn't it great, that today we can collect butterflies without pinning them with some needles on a board!! Your collection is very impressive! My favorite is # 23 and the cover picture and 37 of course and I had a laugh about # 34 the lunchbox! :-) Thanks for your nice comments about my 'Royal Poinciana blooming with fire'. Those trees are common in countries with a much warmer clime, countries like Florida, California, India, Queensland, Australia, North Africa. Some community members told me so! Have a wonderful week! Thank you for your comments in my Flowers on vintage china album. I didn't know if this type of album would be interesting for others to view. I have only photographed about half of my china collection so far. I was surprised to see how much china I have collected over the years. The French Limoges pieces are my favourites. I love This Butterfly Album of yours. The Butterflies are so colorful. I enjoyed every photo. I always like your comments that go along with your photography. As you can see, I love taking pictures of insects but so far I did not have much luck with taking pictures of butterflies. I hope one day I'll manage to create a beautiful album like yours. Bonjour Luc: quel plaisir toujours de te retrouver avec des photos extraordinaires! Cette fois-ci d'une chasse inoffensive - mais avec quel résultat! On est ébahi par cet immense variété de couleurs et formes, et heureux bien sûr de constater que ce ne sont point d'individus épinglés d'un musée.
