Hi Jane: nor we: can't get enough of spring. But no doubt you can enjoy it at present, as we. Loved your pictures: such an attention to the proper nature of every object, such a mastery in immortalizing them! - Thanks for your kind words to "Cornfield&q uot; and "b/w pictures". It was well me the photographer of the underground expedition (light from "personnel mixture" of powder for flashlight...). Hugs Kaethi and Henri

Hi Jane...This album is spectacular. I love it. I love the cold and snow, but I also love flowers and buds and I think its so nice to see them just budding. I like the restaurant for the birds. That shot is great. The pink blossoms, they are not from this year are they? If so they are just beautiful. hugs and love, Barbara

Hi Jane. Brrr. Can't wait for spring and flowers and bare arms and golf and plenty of sun and color. Love your flowers. And, yes, Prancer is a lovable handful. He has more energy than a pot of poppin' corn. We have had him for 7 weeks, and he doesn't act at all like his 1yr,1mo age. I bought him a ball today and I think it is the first he has ever had. What a riot. He played and amused himself for almost 2 hours with it. He was almost cat/kitten-like with his behavior. What a whole new world, after 30 years of labs, he is opening to us. Keep thinking spring, it has to come, soon, soon. Take care, Louise

What an unbelievably stunning album. Oh my god, the yellows!! My favorite color. I love "Sunlight from the Earth", "White Daffy With Golden Heart", "Heart Vine", "Jill of the Jungle", "Heart to Heart", "Hangin' Out"... wow.. "Grape Hyacinths" .. I really like that one. What great brilliant colors. And the clarity is .. over the edge.. sharp and crisp.. powerful. The detail draws me deep into the picture. I don't believe I've ever seen such detailed pictures of birds before. You have an awesome talent and camera. Thanks for sharing! Lynn in Virginia USA

Hi Jane! I love the Mourning Dove peeping in your window. They remind me of little Basset Hounds running around on the ground. They are just too precious! They sit out in my rose garden in the mulch and sunbath winter and summer. A lot of times I don't see them because they blend in so well with the compost and mulch and then I hear that unusual sound their wings make as they fly away upon my approach! I'm glad you didn't get into the electric fence and I'm glad the Hummingbird recovered. In reference to where we saw the Sea Lions, I think it was a park on the coast close to Newport. We stayed a couple of nights at Newport and drove up and down the coast. We did see the Sea Lion Caves area, but the sea lions weren't there at the time so we didn't fall for the tourist trap of paying to get in!!! This group of sea lions were just out there on some of the rocks quite a ways out in the ocean, but you could certainly hear them! LOL They can really make a lot of noise. Our trip down the Oregon Coast was a little disappointing that year because it had been an extra dry summer and everything was dried up and brown, plus the weather was cloudy and rainy most of the time. I have never had the courage to try to make an album out of those photos, although I may someday. We enjoyed it anyway and went into several lighthouses. I would have been in "Hog Heaven" with the camera if the weather had been sunny! We had a great time at the zoo yesterday. It was in the 70's and sunny. A lot of the animals weren't outside yet because here it can be 70 one day and 35 the next day! Give Petie an extra doggie treat for me (when the other babies aren't looking)!! Have a great day! Sharon

Jane, this album is beautiful. I love the daffodils...the shot you took of the yellow ones is wonderful. I love also the white and yellow daffodils and the bleeding hearts...I like those flowers, but the name sounds so sad. The heart vine is great...the album is great. Thanks for sharing it....it will be a feature soon, I believe. warm wishes, Barbara http://community.webshots.com/user/midnight_lace http://community.webshots.com/user/barbaramidnight

Now you've done it, Jane! Purple is my favorite color and I love the photo of Grape Hyacinths. :-)) I can't believe your lilac has buds on it. We're still trying to get the daffodils out of the ground. LOL Bob did not get sunburned, but thanks for asking. It's been cloudy and cold again for a couple of days, but this weekend is supposed to be beautiful. Can't wait! I guess Rod feels outnumbered since you have three daughters! LOL :-)))) We have one daughter, Julie, who is married and lives in Columbus, OH. They are the parents of our two precious granddaughters, Rachael, 10, and Abby, 9. We also have one son, Greg, who is married and lives in St. Peters, MO (which is right down I-70 from St. Charles). Greg and Marcia do not have any children yet. I'm not sure where our next photo trip will be. Bob has been wanting to take me to the zoo (probably to leave me there), but when spring comes alive around here I'd like to visit the Shaw's Nature Reserve (owned by Missouri Botanical Gardens). They have more of the wildflowers and nature trails. MO Bot Gardens is about 30 miles one way from St. Charles and the zoo is about 25 miles one way, so it's an all day trip whenever we go anyplace on the St. Louis side of the Missouri River. Well, give everyone hugs from Bob and me and have a great weekend. Sharon

Hi again Jane! I also love the gold of the Forsythia, but Bob only likes it if it's in someone else yard. He cut mine down years ago. His Mother used to use a branch off the Forsythia bush to give him a little correction when he was young! Therefore, he doesn't have any fond memories of that plant!!! LOL :-)) Poor Baby! Talk to you later. Sharon

Hi Jane! Younger than springtime am I!! Or is that Older Than Dirt am I??? :-0 This album is gorgeous. I love the bleeding hearts, the daffodils and your daughter's lady bug!! Do you still have youngsters living at home? How many children do you have? We actually had thunderstorms last night! I think spring is officially here. LOL :-)) We don't exactly live in tornado alley, but we get our fair share of them. Hope you and Rod are over the colds for good now. That brilliant yellow of the daffodils should make all the sniffles go away. :-))) Are you still feeding the precious birds. We need to get more apples for the mockingbirds. They just love them! Thanks for sharing this fantastic album. Give everyone a hug! Sharon
