Good Morning Sharon. Thank you for the kind words in my "Kauai" album. Dad and I infact went to Maui twice and had planned a trip to Kauai in 2002, but he got cancer and our trip was cancelled. So, this trip next week, will be to take his ashes to Kauai to rest. He loved Maui, but after a discussion with my brother we decided that Kauai would be fine. Plus neither one of has has been there before, so I am excited about the trip. As you know, it takes a lot of time to view everyone on your favorites list, and since you are new to my list I have been trying to get back and look at your other albums. I did not even know about Webshots when you got a featured album on this one. I took the liberty of downloading 14 of these little guys for my Webshots. A belated congratulations on this one, it is beautiful. Look back on the Kauai album after October 1st. I should have my trip photos in there by then (hopefully lol). Lynn, Bonanza, Oregon, USA

Attracting butterflys to citrus, was a very interesting idea. Planting flowers in your yard is another good thing to do, and having a butterfly feeder close to a window may make photography more practical. I'm sure there are lots of us interested in photographing the same subject. Glad to see your work featured again.

Sharon: thanks for recent comments on one of my sites. The cactus wren was brought close by camera lens. I can take photo then bring closer and retake photo. Sort of nice. Hi Sharon! I love your album of the butterflies. Was this am outdoor bontanical garden? You did a super job of snapping photos of a very difficult subject. My husband and I go to a Butterfly House here in the St. Louis area frequently, but since it is indoors and they eat quite well, they do seem to pose a little easier than the butterflies outdoors!
