Hi 8-)! belted Dutch cow is my favourite (of course) In Dutch this kind of cow is called Lakenvelder. Laken means sheet. So you can imagine that this cow looks like a black one with a sheet around its belly! Thanks for dropping by in tenerife! Greetings Anna

Thanks so much for you kind comments, and I can only return them in kind!! Had a tough time, right off the bat, deciding whether to look at the insects or the birds first. Looked at both so far and they are just gorgeous. I really, really like the blue jay pictures. (..and the finch, and the spiders, and the walking stick...) Beautiful photos. There were several more albums that caught my eye (we definitely have similar interests in our choice of subjects) so I will be back! Thanks again, Mary

Dear Miss Dee, thank you for visiting my site. All my photos are taken with a digital Nikon 990 coolpix with a Lieca bird scope. You do have colourful birds coming to your backyard. Our Asian birds takes abit of finding. I did enjoy travelling the long roads across Nevada from California. The great wide open spaces is simply breath taking. Regards John Lynn Singapore

Hi Miss DeeAnne, This is a very nice bird album you have. I particularly like the large images you get of some relatively small birds. Although I’m a lifetime NY Yankees fan, my favorite has to be your “Baltimore Oriole” (LOL). Greetings from Florida, Paul. P.S. Thank you for your kind works on my Illusions album.

Hi Miss DeeAnne, thank you for the kind words on my junk album. I love your picture of the baby cardinal and chickadee, they are darling. I am going to download some of your birds for my screen savers. I am happy you wrote me it made me feel good. I lost my regular old fashion camera and broke my digital one. I hope I can get another one because I enjoy taking pictures. I am going to add your site to my favorites if you do not mind. I noticed you have an album of light houses which I love. Have a good day, Brenda in MO.

Hi there, This is a great album of birds. You must live in the northeast somewhere, you have all the same birds as I have but your photos are much nicer then mine. Bird watching is one of my hobbies and I love good photos of them. Thanks for sharing. Also, thanks for the kind words in my Special Effects album, I am glad you liked it. Christy from western NY

Hi DeeAnne, What an outstanding collection of small birds (which are by far more difficult to photograph than larger ones because one must get closer and they are by far more shy)! I particularly like your Blue Jay and your Baltimore Orioles (though I’m a Yankees fan myself - LOL). Greetings from Florida, Paul. P.S. Thank you for your generous words on several of my albums. Cape Coral 40 years ago was a giant cattle pasture. So everything you see is at most that old. The population has quadrupled in the last 10-12 years so most everything around has been built during that time by and for mid-western retirees who have followed I75 south to the sun.

We are overwelmed with this album...It is awesome...super great closeups....I presume most of these were taken in your own backyard....Just a suggestion but all these images would make for a beautiful video (with music added)using Moviemaker...Marg and Larry

Hi DeeAnne, I love this album. Hopefully there will be some new additions to it this summer. You're right, winter's back and all the backyard birds have been here yesterday and today in a feeding frenzy. They even showed us some video from your side of the state on the news last night. You usually see the worst of it over there I'm afraid. It's snowing here this morning and we've only made it up to 28 degrees so far. So much for our spring. I hope you and your family will have a blessed Easter despite our forecast. Thanks for your visit yesterday and for your kind comments. You have a gift of words; your comments are always kind and thoughtful. Take care and I'll be back again when I can spend a little more time. Gail

Hi! I love this album. Too cold here to go outside for lunch, so I took a break and looked at your Challenge album and the Wildflowers and a few others too - so many *beautiful* photos! I still love your bluejay picture. Mine just won't sit still long enough for me to get a shot of them! As soon as they see the slightest shadow or movement they're off. But *one* of these days...! Happy Easter!

Hi Dee, These photos are just super! I find animals the hardest to take. You not only got good shots of them, but captured lovely surroundings too. Golly, this album makes me long for Spring all the more. Right now, the wind is howling and it is -1 below and dropping. I hope you and hubby get out to Oregon some time. It is quite different from Michigan. Hugs, Shirley
