Hi Bill! Thanks for visiting my Zoo album. That is pretty interesting the designing of a Zoo. There are probably many things to consider that are not apparent to the visitor when the Zoo must be built! Awesome thesis. I enjoyed your view of the animals.. the composition and focus on the animals 'fine points'. Sometimes just a portion of the animal defines the animal and its beauty. Like your black swans and the curvature of their necks, and the rhinos in the shadow with their horns in the focal point. Thanks so much for visiting. Take care and enjoy your day! Eti

I was going through webshots looking for Rockhopper penguins and you are the only one that came up with a very close up shot where you can actually see an excellent example of how beautiful the tufted crest appear. Thanks for sharing! Paul Bratescu Seattle Washington :)

Love a penquin, especially with a spiky hairdo!!! They are adorable. And, swans. They are my favorite of waterbirds. Georgeous. One of my albums in Greenfairways deals only with swans, primarily a family that would visit frequently in front of our house. They are wonderful creatures. Thanks for the informative entry in my guestbook about the church achitecture. I really appreciate it. Old brick work seems to have a flair of its own, rarely seen today. Louise

Hello from the Shetland isles in Scotland. I think those penguins have a groovy hair style. We have no penguins here, the only ones I've seen live, is when I was in Tenerife at a zoo. Have a look at the kind of wildlife we have here, in my local photos group, just Shetland ponies, but I think they are cool. All the best, George

Hi Bill, I enjoyed viewing this album, the black swans are beautiful, after I took the swan photos, I tried to find something about them on the Internet, now you have told me more than I found. I didn't know it is a mute swan. You mentioned they clip their wings? I was very curious if that is why the swan never leaves, that makes sense. I was kind of surprised the swan here, doesn't have a companion or mate, I was wondering if they are solitary and territorial. How neat that you can hand feed the black swans. Your albino peacock is just gorgeous too! Thanks so much for sharing and for signing my guestbook. Candy

Black swans - cool!! Really like the peacock pictures too. I waited years to get the turkey pictures. Finally lucked out one day when they decided not to run away as soon as soon as I pointed my camera in their direction! Thanks for you nice comments. -Mary
