  • 6/4/03 Another comment on ALPINE ROAD from - Barbara Allen '32 In 1929 my father Edgar C. Allen, Paul B. Riis, Jesse Barloga and Shelby Large formed the Edgebrook Subdivision at Spring Creek and and Alpine Roads. I remember walking on Alpine, so the pictures brought up lots of memories. Is Spring Creek still running? I graduated from Keith School in 1930. It had classes only through tenth grade at that time. So, I spent eleventh and twelfth grades at Rfd., HS. graduating, as you noted, in 1932. I then attended Rockford College ... That of course was at the old campus. My husband Norman and I were married in the chapel there in July of 1941.
