I lived in Cape Town for a year, got engaged there and fell in love with her instantly! I had the best job I have ever had there and well I can go on...... But I won't.:) I love this place and always holds a special place in my heart. Your photos just bring back so many happy memories and I am so glad that I am going to be going back this year and the next! Great photos. but one thing im worried about - i came on this site about a year ago and it had about 50 albums, and now i wanted to look again at the gorgeous jackaranda tree pictures and they were missing.. :( almost all of them :( can anyone explain me where the rest of the pictures have disappeared to, or at least where can i find them??? my email: startrack@newmail.ru

Thank you very much for the nice words concerning my photos.I am user Los42 from Greece. I visited your webshots page and I saw that apart from having hundreds of photos they are of very good quality too,meaning that the sceneries are nice along with the composition you’ve made for most of them.You must either be a pro for having so many good photos or a photo maniac just like me.Unfortunately for me, I decided to buy a good slr camera only a year ago and as a result I’ve missed many photos from most of the amazing places(mostly islands) I’ve visited all these years in Greece(all these photos are taken during this one year). Anyway, I just want to give you a friendly advice even though I’m not THE expert and please don’t think that I’m playing the one to you. I’ve downloaded some of your photos and I realized that the resolution you’re using is very low.Probably your aim is to keep the size very low in order to be easier and faster for others to download your pictures,but when I placed them on my desktop(using the webshots software) your images had this annoying pixel effect. Since most people navigate webshots site to find nice photos for their desktop ,this effect will keep them eventually ‘away from your photos’.I think that it’s a pitty for you and your photos which are very good ,not to be able to be downloaded by other people due to this low resolution you’re using.For example , my photos are in average of 150kb size in order to keep the appropriate quality when enlarged in the desktop(the images I downloaded from you had a size of 30kb which is very low). At any rate ,thanks again and keep up the good shooting.bye

Thanks for looking at my pictures. I started using webshots only recently, and this is my first featured album. I enjoyed my "stroll&quot ; through your part of South Africa. I have a friend who was there last summer. She came back with some remarkable animal photography. She headed into the bush on foot and alone and got some very nice closeups of many animals (lions, rhinos, zebra, impala, etc.) and she came back to the U.S. in one piece! I would love to make that trip myself, but right now I am traveling with a group that shares my interest in archaeology. Next year we will be going to either Turkey, China or Cambodia. I'll go anywhere for interestomg photos and I love to travel. Your photos of sky and water are especially nice. I will definitely keep up with your work.

You live is such a beautiful part of the world..."Early Morning Kalk Bay Harbor" is truly stunning, as is "Hout Bay" "Stormy Bay" wonderful, a stormy day at sea does something to my soul!"Frog with leaf on head" is so cool, love it."Bainskloof evening" is such a great shot.
