I am in Richmond Va (also zone 7a) and have a cycas revoluta that I have to heavily protect during the winter. I was think about getting a Cycas panzhihuaensis so that I could leave outside without having to worry about it and was wondering how yours has held up during the the albeit mild winter 2005.
