Your shots are splendid. Excuse my english, i'm french (oops). So your mountains are almost beautiful than Alps, Pyrenees and other Europeans massifs. I made hikes in France, Poland, Slovakia, Italy and England, and the landscapes are of the same beauty. Thanks for the quality of your shots, and for the "locals" ; shots too...

I met you and Zoe at Mt. Whitney. I must admit that Zoe was the more memorable. She seemed to have endless energy. Some very nice pics. I haven't posted any to my site yet (I'm not a premium memeber on webshots). Send me your email address and I'll let you know when I post my shots from the same hike. halfover@yahoo.com

Great photos! I was 16 when I made my first climb to Mt. Whitney way back in 1974. I've made four more since; the last one was in 2001 with my 12yr old son. Each time has been a new expirience and adventure. Thanks for the great pictures..

Great pics...some of the best. Great hiking time. I'm impressed. I did Whitney in 2001 from the backside and it brought back memories. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful pictures. The color of the rock in the beginning shots is interesting.

Looks like a great area to hike. I'll have to put this trip on my wish list. Check out my photos on the Canadian Rockies which we just completed about 4 weeks ago. It was phenominal. Beautiful photos! Gret job! Bob Weber

Great pictures! Congrats to you and Zoe for making it to the top. Iceberg Lake sure looks like it thawed out a lot since I was up there...

Very good photos and documentation. Hiked Whitney twice back in the 60's when I was stationed at Edwards AFB. We camped at timberline to acclimate. The first time was too early in the season and snow prevented us from making it to the top. Success on the second try, and we still had lots of snow to enjoy. A great memory for me.
